On Saturday 28th August we took part in the Shirley Carnival
It was lovely to be able to introduce the community to our Care offer and to also let them know the complementary services our sister company ‘PCH Services’ provides
We managed to raise over £300 on our Tombola in aid of ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’ which will be further added to at our ‘Macmillan Coffee Morning’ in October.
There were stalls from many local organisations and all proceeds went to supporting the ‘Shirley Lions Club’ and their charitable activities
The carnival was opened by Solihull’s Mayor Councillor Ken Meeson accompanied by his wife Mayoress Annette. They were delighted to see so many people attending following the easing of the COVID restrictions.
