[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Sarah has worked with Bright Dawn Home Care since November 2008, she is an experienced Care Giver who is highly thought of amongst her colleagues and clients.

Here’s what Sarah has to say about being a Care Giver with Bright Dawn Home Care.

Why did you decide to become a Care Giver?

I decided to become a Care Giver because I thoroughly enjoy working with and assisting people in activities of daily living (A.D.L).  These activities can range from personal care, medication prompts through to companionship calls.

How does being a Care Giver make you feel?

I feel that being a Care Giver puts me in a very privileged position.  It is very satisfying and rewarding assisting people in A.D.L in their own homes.  It is also wonderful to work with our clients and build up a trusting and joyous rapport.

How do you think you’ve change the lives of your clients?

I think the clients I visit and their families are appreciative of the care and assistance I give.  For a lot of clients, the assistance given enables them to stay living in their in homes.  As Care Givers it is wonderful to develop a trusting, respectful friendship with the clients.  Some of the clients may not have many visitors, so the Care Giver can become the highlight of their week.

Anything further you would like to say?

I feel it is a real honour and pleasure to be able to assist people in improving the quality of their lives, whilst also creating friendships.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
